This is Trip just yesterday. He is about a month and a half old now and looks totally different to me from when he was just a few weeks. Most of his dark hair has fallen out and a light brown/dirty blond color is coming in its place. I think he weighs 11 or 12 lbs. now and he is much chunkier! He is also much more expressive and alert now, although he still naps plenty! He recognizes his parents' faces and voices and our favorite time together is in the early mornings before J leaves for work when Trip joins us in bed. That is when he is most awake and playful! I never thought I would love the mornings so much!
This is Trip with his Aunt Kenzington, as J fondly refers to her.
Trip with his Aunty Georgia (this is an old picture, but I wanted to make sure Georgia made it onto the blog ... she is already such a natural at taking care of little Trip).
This picture was taken on my birthday just a few days after Trip was born. You can see I still look a little out of it, but my mom and sister were kind enough to get me a delicious cake from a the bakery down the street. The piece I had was wonderful ... J and my mom finished it off!
