The Mess-Maker
I'm having some issues uploading pictures from my camera, so thought I'd share some from my phone in the meantime.
This little girl is in to EVERYTHING! She will empty any basket, drawer, or cabinet in a matter of seconds!

under construction
With the help of a long time family friend, we are finally getting around to the project we began a year and a half ago ... the kitchen cabinets. The doors have been off of our cabinets since the first week we moved into our house in 2010, so this project is long overdue!
Both kiddos are getting their hands dirty and having fun with the project. Although I'm sure things would go much faster without an almost-three-year-old "helping" and asking questions every minute, or without a wild almost-one-year-old climbing in and out of the construction area!

Creative Eating
Saturday lunch - Trip still in his "footie pajanimals" (a name J gave to Trip's favorite type of pajamas).
One minute he was eating a perfectly good turkey and cheese sandwich, the next minute he had poured the contents of my favorite - and most expensive - cereal on top of the sandwich.
To my surprise, he continued eating his lunch like this was no big deal. The boring turkey sandwich must have needed a little something added.

Fishin'
A couple of weekends ago J took Trip to Bass Pro Shops while Anna Kate and I ran some errands in the area. They came out with this light-up, neon green, Buzz Light Year fishing pole.
After church the next day, they decided to go fishing at our local lake.
When they returned, I asked J if they caught anything. He said Trip "fed" all of the worms to the fish within the first 10 minutes. I guess that's what you can expect from an almost three-year-old!
